CLASS DESCRIPTION:
Yin Yoga - is a slow-paced style of yoga where postures are held for between three and five minutes, sometimes longer to work into the deeper layers of the body.
This practice is typically seated or lying down, It stretches your connective tissue around your joints, especially the knee, sacrum, spine and pelvis. Yin Yoga increases the circulation in the joints especially to fascia, ligaments and tendons. It does so by applying moderate amounts of stress on them. This helps in increasing the flexibility of these joints.
No prior yoga experience is required. Beginners welcome.
